A cake smash session is a playful and memorable photography experience that celebrates your child’s first birthday. The session captures the joy and excitement as the child explores, smashes, and tastes the cake, resulting in adorable and candid moments that commemorate this milestone!
Cake smash sessions are booked at around 11 months of age. This allows time for edits to be complete in time for your child’s first birthday. They are fully customizable; no two cake smash sessions will be quite the same. Choose a theme and make it as elaborate as you’d like, or opt for a more simple setup- the choice is yours! Are you interested in getting professional portraits done of your child, but they’re too old for a newborn session, and too young for their cake smash session? This is what a milestone session is perfect for! I offer these at 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months, and anywhere in between! These sessions include up to an hour in my professional studio, 3 props, and options for different coloured backdrops and setups. I also have a client closet of tiny, adorable outfits if you would like help dressing your little one for the occasion!

Photos for every milestone
Cake Smash Session
$449
Cake Smash Sessions include a cake, one themed setup or a basic setup with a white backdrop and balloons.
We include a complimentary bubble bath to clean off after and capture some “splashing” photos as well, if you wish! Outfits and accessories are available for your use.
Milestone/Sitter Session
$399
Milestone and Sitter Sessions capture your baby’s adorable expressions between the ages of three months and one year. This is a great option for parents who missed the opportunity for infant portraits or want to capture their baby’s growth and milestones over the year! We also offer family and sibling portraits to make this a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
